Northern Pacific Railway Museum Regular Season: Sunday, May 1 to Saturday, October 15, 2016:  Tuesday to Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM, Sunday Noon to 4 PM, closed Mondays.  Special event days and hours vary depending on the event.

Museum Work Days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday: year around.  Call Jerry Boekholder (509) 865-2409 or Doug Shearer (509) 854-1971 for information.  NP 1364 crew usually works Friday evening and Saturday.  Call to confirm, especially during winter when work dates are cancelled occasionally.

Work/History Weekends: Volunteering, BBQ and Northern Pacific History lecture:  April 8-10, 2016, June 10-12, 2016, Fall date(s) to be determined:  Stop by and give a hand with the many projects at the museum.  New volunteers will be guided through various projects each work day.  A barbeque will be held at the depot along with an evening lecture co-sponsored by the Northern Pacific Railway Historical Association.  For those that want to come early and stay late we get together Friday evening and have further work in progress on Sunday.  Limited accommodations are available--click for further information. 

Mural in a Day: Saturday, June 4, 2016:  The Toppenish Mural Society presents its annual mural in a day with a mural completed over the course of a day by a group of 10-15 Western artists.  The museum will provide speeder and/or caboose rides that day.

19th Annual Railroad Show: May 7,2016:   The  annual event has been moved to May starting this year.

7th Annual Dinner Train to Nowhere: Saturday, September 10, 2016:   The Toppenish Lion's Club holds an annual fundraiser in conjunction with the railroad museum.  The museum provides the venue; the Lion's Club provides their usual fantastic steak dinner at "Nowhere", the false front western town in the east yard.  Speeder rides and hand pump car rides are a part of the fun.  For tickets contact Jerry Boekholder at (509) 865-2409.

Pumpkin Run  Saturday, October 22, 2016,  10-4 PM. This event features a caboose ride to Nowhere, pump car rides, museum tours, and a free pumpkin for each child.  Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

12th Annual Toy Train Christmas at the Northern Pacific Railway Museum:  Saturdays and Sundays, November 26-27, December 3-4, 10-11 & 17-18, 2016 10:00-4:00 PM.   Take a short caboose ride to the "North Pole" to see Santa Claus.  Over 40 toy trains of many sizes (Z, N, HO, S, O and G gauge) operate around decorated Christmas trees.  Areas are set aside for children to set up and operate children's trains and There is a craft area where kids can make Christmas decorations.  Hot chocolate and cookies are offered to everyone.  Admission $8 for adults, $5 for children.  Photographs with Santa Claus will be printed on site for extra charge. 

Caboose Birthday Parties: Individually scheduled--$100 minimum.  Call Mary at (509) 877-3894 to schedule.

Locomotive Engineer Experience: $100 by reservation, call Mary as above
